The story begins at the Scarred Mountains, a boundary created by the gods to separate the two sides. Sieghart will encounter a young girl surrounded by creatures form the armies of darkness while on a mission for the forces of light. While fighting off the girl's assailants Sieghart was mortally wounded, but was saved by the mysterious young girl. However, while she managed to save Sieghart's life, her powers were transferred to him. With this unexpected twist of fate, Sieghart embraces his new role in the conflict and throws himself headlong into the war.
