Race Pro - Formula 3000 and BMW

The International Formula 3000 Championship was established in 1985 as the final graduation category for drivers before entering Formula One. Since 2001, Formula 3000 has been restructured, bringing it even closer to Formula One. Drivers that have used Formula 3000 as a springboard to their professional motorsports careers include Nick Heidfeld, Juan Pablo Montoya, Sebastien Bourdais, Tom Kristensen and Jan Magnussen. Formula BMW is a junior racing formula for single seater cars and is positioned at the lower end of the motorsport career ladder. It is intended to provide young kart racing graduates their first experience of car racing.
