Ah! My Goddess: Season 1

College student Keiichi Morisato must have some sort of unlucky star over his head. He runs late for school, gets picked on in class, and gets bossed around by his seniors into doing chores for his dorm and the auto club. Nothing is going right. After a day full of chores and demands, Keiichi dials up the older students, but misdials and ends up calling the Goddess Assistance Agency! What happens from here on is something he never expected, as a beautiful girl appears in his room.

Keiichi wishes that his goddess, Belldandy, will stay with him forever; and his wish comes true. The wish can't be undone as it has been registered with the Goddess system. While Keiichi is wondering what to do, his seniors, Tamiya and Ohtaki, arrive and find that he's broken the rules about having girls in the all-male dorm. What will happen to Keiichi and Belldandy now?

Keiichi and Belldandy search for a place to live, exploring the real estate listings, friends' apartments and eventually a run-down temple where a monk lets them in.

Keiichi brings Belldandy to his school, where his classmates are impressed by the new girl. Sayoko, a popular girl on campus, meets Belldandy and tries to figure out where she has come from. Realizing her popularity is dwindling, Sayoko tries to get between Keiichi and Belldandy, accusing Belldandy of not being a student, and creating situations where she and Keiichi can be alone. But the Ultimate Force that is linked to Keiichi's wish has other ideas.

Keiichi has left his books and papers at home, and Belldandy goes back to get them. Disguising her ulterior motives, Sayoko approaches Keiichi in Belldandy's absence, and challenges him to stop acting so timidly in his relationship. Keiichi begins to doubt himself, and struggles with what to say to Belldandy. He creates a romantic atmosphere at home with candles and music. Will it do the trick?

Keiichi's sister, Megumi, is in town looking for an apartment. She shows up at the temple where Keiichi is staying. Keiichi and Belldandy help Megumi find a place to live, but it has a dark secret.

Belldandy learns about the celebration of Valentine's Day and White Day in Japan. She asks Sayoko for advice. Sayoko once again has ulterior motives and tries to set up Belldandy with the campus playboy, Toshiyuki Aoshima. This could be trouble!

Keiichi rents a movie from a local video store. When he tries to watch the film, a mysterious woman appears on his television screen. The woman identifies herself as Urd, Belldandy's older sister. She tries to move Keiichi's romantic intentions forward, and slips him a controlling love potion.

Belldandy wins the Miss NIT contest and becomes Campus Queen. Sayoko and Toshiyuki try to uncover Belldandy's identity by setting up revealing situations where the Goddess would have to use her magic. But with big sister Urd watching, the investigation is not so easily accomplished! Toshiyuki manages to put Urd to sleep by playing music, and Sayoko kidnaps Keiichi. To get Keiichi back, Belldandy just might have to reveal to Sayoko the truth about herself!

The Nekomi Motor Club attempts to recruit new members, but now there is a new rival club called the Four Wheels, started by Toshiyuki Aoshima. The motor clubs agree to a challenge--a race to determine which of the clubs will win the prize--to be the only motor club around. Keiichi and Belldandy represent Nekomi in the race, but where there is Toshiyuki, there is sabotage. Can Keiichi and Belldandy make it to the finish line?

Tamiya and Ohtaki buy a strange Demons CD from a store. Not only is the music strange, but a spirit shoots out of the CD. She asks the classmates what they would like. Not paying too much attention, the two seniors wish her to go away. The spirit is Marlier, a Demon First Class; and she's ready to mess up the goddesses' plans. Their first target would be Keiichi.

Marlier offers Sayoko a plan to get Belldandy out of the way. Marlier casts a spell to tip Keiichi's heart balance so that Keiichi would become fixated on Sayoko. After Belldandy goes home, Keiichi is alone with Sayoko—this is her big chance. However, Keiichi's suggestions are not what she expected.

Problems with the Goddess Assistance system are rising because of Belldandy's unstable heart. A new girl shows up at the temple; it's Belldandy's kid sister Skuld! She's there to deal with the computer bugs, but also has an ulterior motive, to bring Belldandy back to heaven. To complicate things, Skuld's invention isn't working, and the "bugs" continue to plague the system, doing all sorts of weird things. Can Keiichi and Skuld repair the machine in time, and will Belldandy have to return to heaven?

Skuld's been spending time with Belldandy, but Belldandy would rather go to school with Keiichi. One day, Skuld takes apart Keiichi's bike, but ends up upgrading it. Keiichi's sister, Megumi, notices the upgrades and starts to critique the work. This upsets Skuld, who issues Megumi a mechanic's challenge. At the suggestion of Keiichi's seniors, Skuld and Megumi enter a robot battle contest to settle their conflicts.

Skuld reveals her latest invention: Banpei-kun RX. Banpei is a robot designed to help Belldandy, which it easily does when Marlier initiates an attack. But the robot is not very discerning, and feels compelled to protect Belldandy from Keiichi and Urd, draining tons of power from the house.

Marlier's attacks on the goddesses continually fail, so she decides to go after another target: Megumi. Marlier takes over Megumi's body and solicits the help of Senbei, the God of Poverty and a generally bad-luck spirit.

Club member Sora is entered into an all-girls racing event. Belldandy and the gang help her overcome her fear of driving, and see the need to boost Sora's self-esteem.

Megumi gives Keiichi tickets to a beach resort, and he and Belldandy go, with Urd and Skuld tagging along. Urd tells Keiichi there's an island spot with powers to grant true love. Keiichi tries to take Belldandy to that remote island location, but Skuld has other plans.

Hoping to move Keiichi and Belldandy's relationship along, Urd fashions a love candy for Keiichi; but Skuld suspects something and slips in some additional ingredients. But Belldandy consumes the candy instead, and it turns her into a very romantically bold woman, or a "tramp" as Urd puts it. Can Keiichi contain himself as he and Belldandy go on a date?

Urd and Skuld return to heaven to tie up a few loose ends. Skuld has Keiichi eat some flan which transforms him into a woman. Now he'll keep his hands off Belldandy, right? Keiichi and Belldandy go through Urd's potion ingredients to find an antidote, but the formula goes wrong and Belldandy catches some kind of flu, and it's getting worse! Keiichi will have to push himself to his finest hour to find a solution.

After Keiichi returns to normal, he and the goddesses hear Belldandy singing with her angel, Holy Bell. Skuld admires Belldandy's angel and wants to have an angel as well.

A demonic urn is retrieved from a nearby cave. Urd's goddess license has been suspended, and she must look for a regular job. When things go all wrong in the workforce, she accepts her demonic heritage and transforms into the Lord of Terror. Big trouble for Keiichi and the girls!

The Yggdrasil system is in chaos from all the attacks from the Lord of Terror. Urd starts releasing the Ultimate Destruction Program which will not only destroy the current world, but would allow the demons to rule it. Belldandy decides to release her sealed power and confront Urd. God gives Skuld a Midgard Flute as a last-chance vaccine to stop the Lord of Terror. Will those efforts be enough?

It's the final showdown where the goddesses, Belldandy and Skuld, battle against the Lord of Terror, who has now possessed Midgard! With the whole world at stake, what can Keiichi do to help? Perhaps another attempt at the flute will do the trick, and that almost works. Unfortunately, now the Lord of Terror has possessed Keiichi. Could this be the end of the world? Will Belldandy be able to save her love?

The goddesses are working overtime to restore the damage done by the Lord of Terror. In order to conserve her energy, Urd is reverting to her younger form. The more energy she expends, the younger she becomes. While waiting for the Yggdrasil system to come back online, she is thrust into an unlikely situation with a boy she meets at a playground. Meanwhile, Belldandy and Keiichi work on a cure for Urd's "condition."

The Yggdrasil system's downtime causes Skuld to become a grown woman. She has until sundown, when the system is restored, to experience life as an adult. After escaping an uncomfortable situation with Toshiyuki Aoshima, Skuld explores her newly matured feelings for Keiichi, and asks him to go out with her the rest of the day.
