Polo Grounds' oddly-shaped outfield fence, with extremely close walls down the line and one of the furthest walls ever in center, is the defining characteristic of this stadium. The Giants played in the Polo Grounds from 1911 – 1957, when they moved to San Francisco. They shared the stadium with the New York Yankees from 1913 – 1922.
Crosley Field, originally called Redland Field, was built in 1912 and housed the Cincinnati Reds until 1970. The struggling Reds franchise was purchased by Powel Crosley in 1934 and the stadium was renamed after the man who was considered to have saved the franchise. Crosley Field is the site of the first ever major league night game, which was played in 1935. There are no refunds for this item. For more information, see www.xbox.com/live/accounts.
